November was a really busy month! I spent two weekends doing Holiday Pet photos capturing images for pet parents to be able to showcase their pets on social media or on their holiday cards or as gifts for family members.
This year, each holiday session day benefited a local rescue.
The first photo day was in Derry at woofmeow and benefited the Greater Derry Humane Society. We had over 27 dogs that came to get their portraits taken on a custom holiday set.
The second photo day was in Dover at woofmeow and benefited the Granite State Dog Recovery. We had over 12 dogs that came for their photo session.
I want to thank woofmeow for hosting these events and for providing such a great location. It's important to me that all the dogs that came in for these sessions felt comfortable. Every session was by appointment only, ensuring dogs were not waiting in line. This allowed dogs that are either nervous or not dog friendly to be able to be comfortable and safe.
The room used for the sessions was a large room with a door that could be closed. Again, this was incredibly helpful in allowing dogs to be off leash, to investigate the room before being asked to pose for their photos.
I avoid using a real santa for pet photos, while these can be cute, many dogs just don't want to be near a stranger, especially one wearing a strange outfit :)
It's such a blessing to be able to support these wonderful local NH rescues. I want to thank all the people who came out to support me and these rescues. Happy Holidays!
